Hoop Land is proud to present (AYBL) Academy Youth Basketball League!

SUMMER SEASON COST: $129

Season Duration: 6/01:2025 - 7/06/2025

GAMES ON SUNDAYS ONLY

COED 2nd grade division: All 2nd grade games will play 5v5 on 9ft and use a size 6 (28.5) basketball.

PRE_GAME PRACTICES/ GAMEDAY:

All teams will practice for 12 min prior to tip-off of all games. We will provide jerseys on game days, so athletes will only need to wear shorts, t-shirt, and athletic shoes to practices and games. All games are played on Sundays between the hours of 9am -1pm at Hoop Land Seattle facility.

BUDDY REQUEST & VOLUNTEER COACHES:

Buddy/schedule requests can be made via email at the link below but are not guaranteed. We are also in need of volunteer coaches! No experience is needed in order to coach. We have an outline for anyone to use so that coaches do not have to spend any outside time coming up with a practice plan. Volunteers do have to go through a background check, so if you're interested in coaching, please also use the link below.

PARKING SITUATION:

Hoop Land has partnered with Chick-fila and now has ample Reserved Parking on Sunday’s across the street from the facility in addition to Hoop land current parking spaces.

2nd Grade Rules:

• 9ft Hoops
• 5v5
• two 20min half’s
• every 5 min mandatory sub’s
• No foul shooting, all foul calls will be taking out of bounce
• 1min overtime sudden death
• Score will be kept
• Man to man defense only (No double teaming)
• No defense in the backcourt
• Every player plays
• Coaches should coordinate with parents regarding post-game snacks.
• Please respect our neighbor’s property when parking at Chick-fila and around the Hoop Land facility.
• REMEMBER, THIS IS A DEVELOPMENTAL LEAGUE AND THE COACHES ARE VOLUNTEERS. ENCOURAGE THE KIDS TO HAVE FUN & DON’T TAKE IT TOO SERIOUSLY AS PARENTS AND FANS.
